Welcome to the Official YouTube Channel for Doc Otis. Doc Otis is a Junkyard Gypsy Jazz, Steamboat Swing-Slathered sax / guitar / percussion trio comprised of Shane Ferguson (sax & vocals), Joshua Miller (guitar & vocals) & Tyler Edwards (percussion & vocals). The trio was born and raised in the lead-laden foothills of the Missouri Ozarks. The original duo (Ferguson & Miller) began playing music together late 2012 , formed Doc Otis in early 2014 and headed down to New Orleans early 2015, where they fell into their very own unique sound and style. Recently (August 2016), the duo brought aboard Edwards as a percussionist and vocalist after a grueling three day audition. The addition of Edwards has taken the tone, energy and drive of the original duo to a whole new level.
