From the recesses of Edinburgh, Scotland comes 6-piece metal ensemble Chekhov’s Gun. Contorting many forms of metal with their classical and romantic influences, they’ve managed to form their own unique progressive resonance. Their great appreciation for culinary arts crept into the forefront with the release of their debut EP “Eat The Rich” (2024). With a palpable sense of rawness and aggression it ain't no average riff salad! With the release of their latest EP “The Carnivorous” (2025), Chekhov's Gun are looking to pursue their melodic craft with more complexity and vigour than ever before. Joined by Kasia Jurek and Lara Andrews, the strings have weaved their sinister melodies into the ensemble and solidified their progressive sound. In 2026 Chekhov's Gun look to the future, expanding their growing audience beyond Scotland, and are delving deep into the writing process for a debut concept album.
