Among the must-see events of the summer, Rebellion Punk Music Festival in the United Kingdom brings together 284 artists in August, making it the largest lineup of the season. In Belgium, Tomorrowland unites 216 electronic artists in July, while Hellfest in France programmes 202 artists in late June. In Romania, Electric Castle Festival (198 artists) offers a unique setting at Bánffy Castle in July, and in Croatia, Momento Demento (183 artists) closes July on a psychedelic note. Germany also shines with the legendary Wacken Festival (149 artists). On the artist side, Gorillaz (20 festivals), Twenty One Pilots (19 festivals) and Feu! Chatterton (19 festivals) are among the most widely booked names of the summer.
On the genre front, Pop leads with 784 festivals, closely followed by Rock (753). Electronic music holds a central place with 600 events, while Dance (463) and Hip-Hop (393) confirm their grip on the summer lineup. House (325 festivals) and Techno (261 festivals) round out a landscape that covers the full range of contemporary music scenes.
France leads the season by country with 326 festivals, ahead of Germany (248), the United Kingdom (203) and Spain (97).
