The month opens with Revolution Calling in the Netherlands (Klokgebouw, 37 artists), an unmissable reference on the European rock and metal scenes. In the United States, Sublime Reef Madness Cruise and Moon River At Sea take a creative approach with their concert-cruise format. In Northern Europe, the Hellsinki Industrial Festival in Helsinki and Helldorado in the Netherlands champion the most avant-garde sounds. The dominant genres are Rock, Pop, and Folk.
