Pfingst Spectaculum 2026: folk metal in Oranienburg
Pfingst Spectaculum takes over Schloss Oranienburg, historic castle in Oranienburg, north of Berlin. From May 23-25, 2026, Pentecost weekend, this three-day event offers specialized programming in folk metal, medieval rock and reinvented traditional music.
The 2026 edition brings together 4 major bands from the European folk scene. On the bill: FEUERSCHWANZ, German masters of theatrical medieval metal, Schandmaul, Germanic bagad rock pioneers, D'Artagnan, French folk rock phenomenon singing in German, and Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen, festive pirate folk specialists.
The lineup explores medieval and Celtic roots, blending bagpipes, violins and electric guitars in a historic party atmosphere, with period costumes and medieval animations completing the musical experience.
