Aching Metal Fest 2026: extreme metal and thrash in Colmar
Aching Metal Fest is an extreme metal festival held in Colmar, in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, France. Over two days, 12 artists form a radical programme centred on heavy metal, thrash and death metal, in the tradition of Alsatian metal festivals.
The 2026 edition features Houle and Aurore, artists representing the French metal scene, alongside other international acts.
The programme covers heavy metal, speed metal, technical thrash metal, death metal, power metal and progressive metal. A selection that values the technicality and intensity characteristic of metal's most demanding sub-genres.
