📋About
Le Concours International de Brass Bands d'Amboise revient les 28, 29 et 30 mai 2027 pour sa 31e édition. Organisé dans plusieurs lieux emblématiques de la ville, en Indre-et-Loire — le Château Royal, le Théâtre Beaumarchais, la Place Michel Debré et la Salle Claude Ménard —, ce rendez-vous annuel réunit chaque année des ensembles de cuivres et percussions venus de France, du Royaume-Uni et d'Europe, en compétition devant un jury international. Le week-end alterne épreuves de concours, concert de musique de marche en cœur de ville, prestations extérieures des ensembles et animations de rue, avant de se clore par un grand concert de gala.
L'édition 2026, qui fêtait les 30 ans de la compétition, avait rassemblé huit ensembles autour du virtuose de la trompette Sergueï Nakariakov, invité vedette du concert de gala aux côtés du Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band, vainqueur du concours. Parmi les autres formations engagées figuraient AToursdeBrass, le Brass Band de la Vienne, le Brass Band du CRR de Tours, le Flixton Brass Band et le Witton Albion Band, ainsi que la fanfare militaire italienne des Bersaglieri et la Banda Jean pour l'animation des rues d'Amboise.
