Cernunnos Pagan Fest 2026: folk metal festival in Île-de-France, France
An essential gathering for folk metal and pagan music fans in France, Cernunnos Pagan Fest takes place every year in Noisiel (Seine-et-Marne), just outside Paris. Created in 2008, this two-day festival features a lineup 100% dedicated to amplified Celtic music and epic Nordic sounds.
The 2026 edition features 8 bands over the weekend of February 21 and 22. Headliners include Ireland's Primordial for pagan black metal, Latvia's Skyforger for celtic metal, and Norway's In the Woods... for atmospheric avant-garde metal.
The lineup also explores acoustic folk territory with Laboratorium Piesni (Polish traditional songs) and Stille Volk for medieval pagan folk. The festival cultivates a unique atmosphere, between Viking epics, melodic black metal, and ancestral chants.
