❓FAQ
When is the 2026 edition, and how many nights does it last?
Le Chien à Plumes sets up on the shore of the Villegusien lake, in the Pays de Langres area of Haute-Marne, from Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August 2026 — three nights of concerts.
Can you sleep on site?
Campsite access is not bundled with the festival ticket: you have to add the camping option when buying. The camper-van area is free of charge, but it gives no access to the campsite facilities such as toilets and showers, which require a camping ticket. Dry toilets run by the Nigloo association serve both the campsite and the main grounds. Once inside, moving back and forth between campsite and concert area is not permitted, and leaving the site is final, even with a 3-day pass.
How do you pay on site?
By cashless only: neither cash nor bank cards are accepted at the stands, whether for drinks, food or merchandise. You can top up your balance on the Weezevent ticketing platform when ordering, or at the top-up points on site. Unspent credit can be claimed back between 11 and 25 August, through [email protected].
Do children need a ticket?
Entry is free up to and including age 10, on presentation of the family record book at the gates. From 11 to 14 years old, a youth rate of 25 € applies and an ID card may be requested. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Can you get there by train or coach?
The nearest railway stations are Langres and Culmont-Chalindrey, connected to the site by Linggo shuttles timed to match the regional TER trains. A coach also leaves Dijon on Friday morning and heads back from the festival on Sunday evening: 18 € return, 9 € one way, bookable together with your ticket.
What is provided for visitors with disabilities?
The ticketing page includes a free rate for people with disabilities, in the same section as the children's rate, and carers also receive a free pass.
What is there to eat?
Caterers working on site sign a charter committing them to more local, organic and even vegan food, with fewer processed products. Behind the scenes, crew meals come from a caterer in Chalindrey, part of the fruit and vegetables from the Dommarien market gardens, and the draught drinks are a lemonade from Haute-Marne and a beer from Haute-Saône.
How long has the festival been running?
The association was founded in 1995 and staged its first, single-day edition that same year by the lake, with four local bands, a music flea market and a hot-air balloon. It passed 10 000 festival-goers over three days in 2002, and 24 000 in 2016 for its 20th anniversary. Around 450 volunteers keep the event running.
