Le festival Le Temps Suspendu revient à Saint-Benoît-du-Sault, dans l'Indre, du 1er au 8 août 2026 pour une nouvelle édition baptisée « Les amours esgarées ». Depuis sa création en 2013, ce rendez-vous de musique baroque et ancienne investit les églises et lieux patrimoniaux du Berry pour proposer aux spectateurs une expérience intime avec les musiciens. Au programme cette année : The Smoky House trio pour une traversée des répertoires irlandais et écossais du pianoforte, l'ensemble La Bohème pour un voyage épistolaire vers l'Italie, ou encore Ensemble Kerygma pour une méditation autour de l'office des matines des défunts.
La programmation se poursuit avec la pianiste Shani Diluka, qui interprète Byrd, Monteverdi, Dowland ou Bach, et l'ensemble Il Ballo, réunissant cornet à bouquin, luth et dulciane. Le festival se clôt en beauté avec « Cupid and Death », un opéra baroque porté par La Caravane et la troupe du Temps Suspendu, associant jeunes talents et musiciens confirmés. Une semaine placée sous le signe des amours contrariées et des répertoires oubliés, dans un cadre patrimonial exceptionnel.
