Les Calebasses d'Avril is a pop festival that takes place in Avignon, Vaucluse, at the end of April. Free entry, the two-day event showcases independent French-language and international pop in the City of Popes.
The 2026 edition programmes 5 artists with marked African and Francophone influences: Basafrika, Davy Kilembe, Diako, Djama and Sandro Joyeux make up a lineup driven by French indie pop and international pop.
The programme navigates between French pop, French indie pop and international pop, championing voices and projects from the Francophone music scene outside the usual commercial circuits.
