Les Vendanges de l'Humour 2026: comedy and Mâconnais wine, 15 November to 5 December
It all began in 1998, when the Junior Chamber, taking its cue from the Tournon-sur-Rhône festival, set up a contest for budding comedians in two bars in Mâcon, Burgundy. Settled at the Parc des Expositions from 2007, it drew over 5,000 people in 2015. Since 2019 the Mâconnais appellations, from Pouilly-Fuissé to Saint-Véran, have been part of the venture, which the Cave de Lugny has backed from day one: several shows open with a free tasting poured by local winemakers.
This 29th edition takes thirteen shows around Mâcon and its neighbouring villages. On 15 November, the brand-new "Ma Région a de l'Humour" contest brings four acts from Bourgogne-Franche-Comté to the Kezaco Café-Théâtre. On the 20th, Compagnie Zygomatic stages CLIMAX, a musical slapstick piece and Avignon 2025 favourite, in Charnay-lès-Mâcon. Marc Tourneboeuf ("L'impatient") and Hugo Pêcheur ("Clochette") follow on the 21st and 22nd, Monsieur Segur plays the Kezaco on the 24th, and Thomas Croisière plays "Voyage en Comédie" in Cluny on the 26th. Béatrice de la Boulaye performs in Chaintré on the 27th, Karine Dubernet takes "Perlimpinpin" to La Roche-Vineuse on the 28th, and Clessé hosts Le Coup de pelle, a comedy spotted at the Avignon OFF, on the 29th.
