Shindig Festival: Wales' Eclectic Carnival
From May 21-24, 2026, Shindig Festival transforms Wales into an open stage for alternative and festive music. This four-day festival brings together over 40 artists around afrobeat, breakbeat, breaks and blues. Family atmosphere, creative workshops and multiple stages define this warm gathering of the Welsh independent scene.
The 2026 lineup mixes underground legends and local discoveries: Chali 2na, emblematic American rapper from Jurassic 5, Altern 8, iconic British 1990s rave duo, and A.Skillz, breaks and hip-hop producer. Also featured are Aroop Roy, Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy, DJ and radio host, and Bryte.
Genres cross borders and eras: from breakbeat hardcore to dance, including club and alternative rock. Artists like 2fox, Aileen Kelly, BOREZ and Close Counters embody this stylistic diversity.
