From Friday, August 13 to Sunday, August 15, 2027, Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth, Minnesota (United States) hosts the 38th yearly edition of this event devoted to blues and blues-rock. The organizer, Bayfront Blues Festival Inc. of Superior, Wisconsin, counts it among the oldest annual blues gatherings in the country. Everything happens outdoors, and shows go ahead whatever the weather.
No 2027 names have been announced yet. To gauge the pedigree, look back: more than 500 acts have played here over the years, Buddy Guy, Luther Allison, Koko Taylor, Little Richard, Wilson Pickett, Solomon Burke, Leon Russell, Dickey Betts, Los Lobos and Susan Tedeschi among them, spanning blues and rock.
