Bristol Sounds 2026: Indie and New Wave at Canons Marsh
Bristol Sounds takes over Canons Marsh Amphitheatre from June 24 to 26, 2026 to celebrate the British indie rock, alternative rock and new wave scene. This urban riverside festival brings together synth-pop legends from the 80s and emerging talents from contemporary indie pop in Bristol's creative atmosphere.
The headliners embody British electronic heritage: Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) represent the elegance of new wave and synth-pop. The Streets bring the UK garage and hip-hop energy from Birmingham. THE KOOKS embody the 2000s Britpop revival.
The Welsh scene is illustrated with Super Furry Animals and their experimental psychedelic rock. Gwenno explores art pop, hauntology and neo-psychedelia in Cornish. Australian duo ROYEL OTIS and collective GETDOWN SERVICES complete a bill that crosses indie pop, dance-pop, electropop and post-punk.
