Ferrara Summer Festival takes place on Piazza Ariostea in Ferrara, in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. This summer festival in the heart of the historic city offers a month of metal and rock concerts in one of Italy's finest urban settings.
The 2026 edition brings together 18 major artists from international metal and rock scenes. Among the headliners: MEGADETH, BRING ME THE HORIZON, MARILYN MANSON and ANTHRAX.
The programme covers heavy metal, alternative metal, deathcore, groove metal and blackened death metal. Acts like Helloween, A Perfect Circle and Black Label Society complete a reference lineup for metal fans.

Where do the concerts take place?
All Ferrara Summer Festival concerts are held outdoors on Piazza Ariostea, in Ferrara, during summer 2026 (with headliners such as A Perfect Circle on 13 June, Megadeth on 14 June and Bring Me The Horizon on 2 July).
Are there shuttles to reach the festival?
Yes. Official shuttles are run by partner Busforfun for several concerts (including A Perfect Circle, Megadeth, Paul Kalkbrenner, Bring Me The Horizon, Marilyn Manson and Helloween). The service is round-trip: you leave from your city, enjoy the concert and are brought back after the show. Seats are limited, with booking on the Busforfun website.
Are children allowed and do they pay?
Entry is forbidden for children under 12 months and strongly discouraged below age 4. Under-4s accompanied by a ticket-holding adult enter free (one child per adult) and must wear ear protection; from age 4 the full-price ticket applies. Any minor under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or present a waiver signed by a parent.
