📋About
Flow Festival 2026: three days of music and design in Suvilahti's former power plant
From 14 to 16 August 2026, Flow Festival once again takes over Suvilahti, a decommissioned power-plant district in the heart of Helsinki (Hanasaarenkatu 10). Its red-brick gasometers and repurposed industrial halls give this Finnish festival its unmistakable character: an urban event where architecture, fashion and visual art matter just as much as the music.
A line-up spanning pop, indie and cutting-edge club sounds
Roughly 150 artists perform across the site's stages. The 2026 edition brings headliners such as Florence + The Machine, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Zara Larsson, Turnstile, MARINA and Lykke Li, alongside a razor-sharp electronic strand featuring Disclosure (DJ set), Honey Dijon, Ben Klock, DJ Koze, Kettama and Skream & Benga. Adventurous listeners will also find Oklou, Clipse, Geese and the experimental strand The Other Sound.
Far more than a music festival
- Signature stages: the Balloon 360°, the club-focused Heineken Backyard and the electronic X Garden.
- Food: a sustainability-driven programme uniting Helsinki's finest restaurants.
- Flow Talks: conversations on creativity, inclusivity and culture in the age of AI.
- Family Sunday: on Sunday afternoon the site exceptionally welcomes young children, though the festival is otherwise strictly 18+.
Entirely cashless and built around a safe, inclusive atmosphere, Flow has become one of Northern Europe's most stylish festival destinations.

❓FAQ
How many stages does Flow Festival have?
The festival takes over the former Suvilahti power plant site with ten distinctive venues. They include the Main Stage and its 57 m by 8.4 m video screen, the Silver Arena (a 60-metre-wide tent holding up to 15,000 people), the dome-roofed Balloon 360°, the Black Tent, the electronic-focused Front Yard, the X Garden, the Heineken Backyard and The Other Sound.
What are the dates and duration?
The edition runs from 14 to 16 August 2026, three days, at Suvilahti (Hanasaarenkatu 10, Helsinki).
What is the minimum age?
Entry is for ages 18 and over, and valid ID may be requested. The only exception is Sunday afternoon, when an adult holding a valid ticket for that day may bring young children (12 and under) onto the site between 1 and 5 pm; children must leave before 6 pm, and prams are tolerated at that time.
Is the site wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The grounds are mostly paved and flat, and all stage and restaurant areas can be reached by wheelchair. The Main Stage, Silver Arena and Black Tent have raised viewing platforms with seating. Every toilet area includes accessible WCs, and a personal assistant enters free of charge with the person they assist, with no card or proof required.
Can you pay with cash on site?
No, cash is not accepted. Restaurants and bars take bank cards (including Visa Electron) as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Nordea Wallet.
How do I get there by public transport?
The site is minutes from central Helsinki. The nearest metro stations are Sörnäinen and Kalasatama; bus stops at Hanasaari, Suvilahti and Sörnäinen (M) plus several tram lines also serve the area. The festival lies within the HSL AB fare zone. A free (unguarded) bicycle park is set up north of the main entrance.
Is there food available?
Yes, more than 40 restaurants are on site, with options for many dietary needs and a wide drink selection. You may bring small personal snacks (sweets, fruit) and one empty bottle of up to one litre to refill at the on-site water points, but no drinks.
