Frostfeuernaechte 2026: winter metal festival in Germany
Frostfeuernaechte is a winter metal festival held at KiEZ Frauensee. Over three days in February, the festival brings together 21 artists celebrating extreme music in a unique atmosphere of fire and ice.
The 2026 edition explores black metal, folk metal, pagan metal and viking metal. The festival pairs Germanic and Scandinavian acts in an atmospheric and radical programme.
The bill also ventures into doom metal, dark folk, neofolk and medieval metal. Atmospheric black metal, post-black metal and blackgaze round out a dark and mystical lineup.
