Tropical House

Tropical House: 26 upcoming festivals, including 13 with tickets on sale.

Tropical House delivers a laid-back, sun-drenched atmosphere with mellow rhythms, often featuring steel drums, marimbas, and flutes over a relaxed deep house beat, evoking a blissful, vacation-like feel. Emerging in the early 2010s, it evolved as a subgenre of deep house and house, though its sonic roots can be traced back to tracks like Dario G's "Sunchyme" from 1997. Key artists who popularized the sound include Kygo, Klingande, and Lost Frequencies, frequently gracing festival stages like Tomorrowland. Its widespread appeal cemented its place as a quintessential soundtrack for summer and leisure.
