Grand Paris Sludge 2026: stoner and sludge metal festival in Savigny-le-Temple, France
A flagship event on the sludge metal and stoner rock scene in the Paris region, Grand Paris Sludge takes over Savigny-le-Temple at the end of May for two days of heavy riffs and saturated guitars. This annual gathering celebrates psychedelic extreme music and the desert sounds of the heavy underground.
The 2026 edition brings together 10 artists across psychedelic metal and heavy rock. Truckfighters, Swedish stoner pioneers, share the bill with Alta Rossa and High Desert Queen, embodying the raw sound of Californian desert rock.
The programme explores doom metal, post-metal, psychedelic rock and occult rock, with influences from krautrock, grunge and hard rock. Acts like Hemelbestormer, Midhaven and Salace round out a resolutely underground bill.
On May 23 and 24, 2026, Savigny-le-Temple hosts this gathering of crushing riffs. Single ticket price: €33. Immerse yourself in the hypnotic universe of sludge and stoner.
