Greenfield Festival returns to Interlaken's airfield, in the Bernese Oberland, from Thursday June 10 to Saturday June 12, 2027. Its home turf is metal, punk and rock, and it does more than book them: the Greenfield Foundation, run by the festival team, backs young Swiss bands from all three scenes through the Rockfond, a Band Support Day and a tour bus it lends out.

Further down come Dropkick Murphys, Arch Enemy, Kreator (also on the bill at the Metal Hammer Paradise festival, two days of indoor metal on the Baltic coast, November 27 and 28), Enter Shikari, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Beartooth, The Interrupters, Danko Jones and The Amity Affliction, among others. Organisers count eight first-timers on this field, from Evanescence to Eisbrecher, Sondaschule, Hot Milk and Speed, a Sydney hardcore band. Which band plays which day is still under wraps.
