Heathen Strike Over Brno 2026: The Fire of Czech Pagan Metal

On February 20-21, 2026, První Patro club in Brno hosts Heathen Strike Over Brno, a festival dedicated to folk metal and pagan metal. This winter edition brings together 25 bands celebrating medieval traditions and ancestral sounds. Headliners CORVUS CORAX, German medieval music masters, and Gorgoroth, Norwegian black metal legends, illustrate the lineup's diversity.

The 2026 program explores Europe's pagan roots with Percival Schuttenbach, Polish Slavic folk specialists, MORK with atmospheric black metal, plus Zywiolak and Wolfchant, European folk metal ambassadors. The festival celebrates the union between traditional instruments and distorted guitars.

Heathen Strike transcends simple concerts to become a celebration of ancient cultures and Nordic mythologies. In První Patro's intimate atmosphere, this winter gathering offers two days of immersion in viking and Celtic sounds, where bagpipes and flutes dialogue with blast beats and metal riffs.
