Jazz in Arles 2026: contemporary jazz and avant-garde in Provence
Jazz in Arles is a festival that takes root in the ancient city of Arles, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. From May 27th to 30th, 2026, it presents an ambitious programme of contemporary jazz and improvised music, with tickets at €10.
Nine artists are featured: Gabi Hartmann, Robinson Khoury, Louis Sclavis and Laurent Dehors.
The festival distinguishes itself through avant-garde jazz, free improvisation and free jazz. Third stream — at the intersection of jazz and contemporary classical — receives particular attention here.
