LÎle aux Voix takes over the Théâtre de lÎle Saint-Louis Paul Rey every spring, in the heart of Paris, to celebrate French chanson and francophone music. From March 18 to April 12, 2026, this festival presents 23 artists in an intimate and demanding program. The event cultivates a close relationship with audiences, favoring acoustic formats, refined arrangements, and highlighting French lyrics.
The 2026 headliners bring together CLAIRE ELZIERE, MICHEL HERMON, and PIERRICK HARDY, three artists committed to the heritage of demanding French chanson. The lineup also includes JOHN GREAVES, a British musician long associated with the French scene, and MIRABELLE GILIS, a figure of the new francophone scene. Together they create programming centered on songwriting, interpretation, and arrangement.
The festival navigates the universe of French and francophone chanson, with particular attention to arrangements (clarinet, orchestrations) and polished lyrics. Far from mainstream formats, LÎle aux Voix favors an artisanal approach to songwriting, where each concert becomes an intimate encounter between artists and audience, in the tradition of Parisian cabarets.
