Light the Dark Festival held its 2026 edition on 20 and 21 March 2026 at the Arbis venue in southern Sweden — a two-day format specialised in Christian rock and metal, with an editorial line that no other Scandinavian festival fills at this scale. The festival has built a small but loyal European audience that travels in specifically for the bookings, which are usually announced 6 to 9 months ahead on the official channels.
The 2026 line-up confirmed the genre focus: Wytch Hazel (UK NWOBHM revival), Bethesda, Chaotic Resemblance, Mark Boals, Park 7, A Life Aligned, Opus Irae and battled covered the range from classic hard rock to modern metalcore in two days of programming.
