Metalfest Open Air 2026: Celebrating Heavy Metal in Plzeň
From June 5-7, 2026, Amfiteátr Lochotín in Plzeň hosts Metalfest Open Air, a festival dedicated to heavy metal and thrash legends. This edition brings together 25 iconic international metal bands. Headliners ACCEPT, German heavy metal pioneers, SEPULTURA, Brazilian thrash legends, and ANTHRAX, Big Four members, guarantee a top-tier lineup.
The 2026 selection intelligently blends Scandinavian progressive metal with SOEN, Finnish symphonic metal via Battle Beast, and Swedish industrial metal from PAIN. Metalfest celebrates European metal diversity in all its glory, from traditional roots to contemporary evolutions.
