Night in the Country 2027: three nights of country music on Yerington farmland, raising money for Mason Valley kids
Since 2002, this small farming town in Nevada has turned into a sprawling summer base camp for country music. Proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley, a charity founded in 1998 with more than 1,500 members across four clubhouses (Yerington, Silver Springs, Dayton, Hawthorne). The land itself is lent by the Peri and Reviglio families and the Lyon County Fair Board.
The 2027 edition takes over The Grange from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 July. Two names are out so far: Chris Janson, a Grand Ole Opry member best known for "Buy Me A Boat", opens Thursday at 9:30pm, while Georgia's Gavin Adcock, whose "A Cigarette" went platinum, closes Saturday in the same slot. Every other set time is still to be revealed.
Much of the weekend happens away from the main stage. Over 3,000 RVs and tents spread across five campgrounds: The Summit and Reviglio Range at $237, The Basin, The Walker and The Trails at $292. Only The Trails asks for quiet between midnight and 8am; elsewhere the party runs until 3am. On Friday from 12:30 to 2pm a band rolls through the camps on a flatbed trailer, and the Full Moon Saloon aftermath keeps a DJ spinning until 2am. Mud volleyball, a beer relay, poker, wake-up yoga, Vino Van Gogh painting and a best-campsite contest fill the rest of the stay.
Three-day passes are sold in US dollars on AXS: $237 for GA ($227 for military, first responders and students), $320 for Superfan with pit access and its own bar, $680 for VIP with 12 drinks and two dinners, and $1,042 for Club 149 with an air-conditioned tent and a private stage. Payment can be split over five months. Bring a clear bag and government ID for the alcohol wristband; under-18s need an adult with them, kids 6 and under get in free, and pets stay home.
