North Sea Jazz Festival 2027: July 9, 10 and 11 at Rotterdam Ahoy
North Sea Jazz Festival was founded in 1976 by Paul Acket, a former pop magazine publisher. Held for decades at the Statenhal in The Hague, it moved in 2006 to the Ahoy complex in Rotterdam, where it takes place on the second weekend of July. Described as the largest indoor jazz festival in the world, it has grown from 6 stages and 9,000 visitors at its first edition to around fifteen stages, some 1,200 musicians and about 25,000 visitors a day. Since November 2017 its official name has been NN North Sea Jazz Festival.
