❓FAQ
How many stages does Red Valley have?
Two. The Volcano Stage is the main stage at the Olbia Arena, while the B-Stage stands in the middle of the crowd and rises up to 5 metres on a lifting system to host DJs during changeovers.
What are the dates and how many nights?
Three nights, on 13, 14 and 15 August 2026 at the Olbia Arena on via Libia, Sardinia: roughly 10 hours of live music a day, from 18:00 to 5:00 am, in a single standing-only parterre.
What time do the gates open?
Gates open daily at 18:00 and never close: you can walk in any time until 3:00 am with a ticket that has not yet been scanned, and a Full Pass grants no earlier entry. Once inside, though, you cannot leave and come back on the same ticket. Headliners play between 22:30 and 3:00.
How many people attend?
The 2025 edition, spread over four nights from 13 to 16 August, drew more than 85,000 people and over 50 artists on stage, which works out at roughly 21,000 per night — an approximate average, since the total adds up the entries of each night. Since 2015 the festival claims more than 480,000 attendees.
Which edition is the 2026 one?
The eleventh. Founded in 2015, Red Valley takes place every year around Ferragosto and has been held since 2022 at the Olbia Arena, a 13,000 sq m concert area with a capacity of 25,000 to 30,000.
What is there to eat and drink?
Several food and beverage stands and bars are spread across the event area, alongside toilets and side activities. Outside food and drink are not allowed, except for guests who show a medical certificate at the gate (coeliac disease, diabetes, intolerances); alcohol is sold to over-18s only, with ID checks at the bars.
Up to what age do children get in free?
Up to the fourth year of age, with no ticket at all, provided they are with a responsible adult holding a valid ticket. From the fifth year onwards a full-price ticket is required, with no discount. Prams are not allowed inside the event area, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult, one adult for every two minors.
What about accessibility for disabled visitors?
A dedicated raised area with seating sits to the side of the arena, around 30 metres from the stage. Access is requested by e-mail to [email protected] with the signed official form and medical documentation, no later than 5 August 2026; the disabled guest receives a free ticket and only the adult companion pays. For safety reasons, the Posto Unico and VIP Lounge sectors are closed to guests using a wheelchair or crutches.
Is the festival cashless?
Completely. A personal NFC wristband, handed out free at the entrance and valid for every night you attend, replaces cash and cards at all outlets. Top it up through the official Red Valley Festival app or at the cash points inside the venue, which also take cash, with a minimum of 10 euros per top-up (1 Fiamma = 1 euro). Any remaining balance is refunded through the app between 18 August at 12:00 and 4 September 2026 at 12:00.
How do you reach the Olbia Arena by train or bus?
The site is walkable from central Olbia through a pedestrian underpass beneath the SS 125, 300 metres from the entrance; the bookable P1 car park sits 350 metres from the arena. Trenitalia regional trains serve Olbia from Cagliari (4h05) and Sassari (1h50). Dedicated coaches run from 13 to 16 August 2026: Cagliari–Olbia (departure 14:30, arrival 18:15, 16.50 euros one way), Porto Torres–Olbia (8.10 euros) and Ozieri–Olbia (4.90 euros), with night returns around 5:30 and 6:30.
