Rototom Sunsplash 2026: Europe's top reggae festival in Benicàssim, Spain
Rototom Sunsplash is one of the world's largest reggae festivals, long established at the Recinto de Festivales in Benicàssim, on the Valencian coast of Spain. Founded in Italy before relocating to Spain, it gathers an international community each summer around Jamaican reggae, dub and dancehall, set against an outstanding Mediterranean backdrop.
The 2026 edition, from 15 to 21 August, features 28 artists. DUB INC and Biga*Ranx are among the most prominent names, alongside Omega Nebula and Alpha Steppa, covering the full breadth of the international reggae family.
The programme explores dub, ragga, dancehall and roots reggae, while also extending into hip-hop, latin, soul and even flamenco and flamenco pop, reflecting a cultural openness that sets Rototom apart in the Spanish festival landscape.
