Independent festival Shambala has set its 2027 edition for the August bank holiday, Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 August 2027, at Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens near Market Harborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. Gates open at midday on the Thursday. The festival calls itself comparatively small, with between 14,000 and 15,000 public adults plus children. Since April 2026 it has been owned by its staff, after the founders handed ownership to the year-round team through an Employee Ownership Trust.
Its 2027 FAQ promises music until about 5am from Friday, Sunday included, food traders that are all meat-free and fish-free, and general camping included in the ticket, with a dedicated family field.
