Skye Live Festival 2026: folk and Celtic music on the Isle of Skye
Skye Live is the flagship festival of the Isle of Skye, celebrating Scottish traditional music and Celtic culture in a spectacular natural setting. Each year, this family-friendly festival brings together local artists and international talents in a warm and authentic atmosphere.
The 2026 edition brings together 20 artists with a programme centred on Scottish folk and Celtic music. Headliners include Dougie MacLean, a Scottish folk legend, and the band Breabach, ambassadors of Gaelic contemporary folk.
The festival also explores free jazz, hard bop and traditional ballads. Projects like An Dannsa Dub blend Celtic influences with electronic sounds, illustrating the dynamism of the Highlands music scene.
