Stone Techno Festival 2026: techno at the heart of Essen's industrial heritage
Stone Techno Festival is a one-of-a-kind event set in the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage site in Essen, Germany. This former coking plant, now a cultural space, becomes each summer the backdrop for a demanding techno and electronic programme that merges industrial architecture with avant-garde sounds.
The 2026 edition brings together 102 artists from the international techno and house scene, featuring Call Super, Rødhåd, DVS1 and KANGDING RAY.
The programme leans into experimental electronic music: deep techno, minimal techno, dub techno, ambient techno and industrial techno make up the bulk of the sets. The Zollverein's unique setting amplifies the impact of the bass.
