We Are Open 2026: Belgian musical laboratory
Nestled in the park of Château de Houtopia in Brussels, We Are Open has cultivated since its creation a radically curatorial approach to the urban festival. Over two days, 61 artists take over this verdant estate to celebrate absolute musical diversity: experimental electro, garage rock, dream pop, disco, grunge and blues rock coexist without hierarchy. We Are Open refuses stylistic boundaries to privilege discovery and assumed eclecticism.
The 2026 edition reveals a bold programming led by ACID TALK, ARNO SACCO, CAMILLE YEMBE and BRONT. The festival explores virgin sonic territories with DJ sets by AVA EVA, BONA LÉA and CASPER, alongside live performances by BIRAME and Badtime.
We Are Open transcends the simple concert: art installations, local food trucks, creative workshops and intimate stages create a temporary cultural village atmosphere. The festival also celebrates boogie rock and beat music with equal attention. Discoveries like Bianca Steck, Big Muffin and CHIBI ICHIGO illustrate this uncompromising vision.
