WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) is held at Neston Park in Wiltshire, United Kingdom. Founded by Peter Gabriel in 1982, this landmark world music festival offers each edition a global exploration of musical cultures, from Asian underground to ethnotronica and folk.
The 2026 edition (22 to 25 July) showcases Gisela João, a leading voice in contemporary fado, ANA LUA CAIANO and Mohammad Reza Mortazavi.
The programme moves between Latin music, jazz, hip-hop and Malian music, with touches of neo soul and indie pop. A specialist festival celebrating the richness of world cultures.

How many main stages are there?
Performances center on two big venues in England — the Main Stage and the Big Top — alongside the festival's themed 'worlds': world of music, world of children, world of words and the new world of wellness, plus more than 200 free workshops.
What are the dates and how long does it run?
WOMAD 2026 runs from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 July at Neston Park, Wiltshire. Both 3-day and 4-day tickets are offered, and all campers must leave the campsite by midday on Monday 27 July.
Is camping free?
General and family camping are included with a 3- or 4-day ticket. Paid upgrades include Boutique Camping (pre-pitched Camp WOMAD tents, tipis, yurts, airstreams) and Live-In Vehicle pitches. Generators, barbecues and fires aren't allowed, and the campsites are a 5–10 minute walk from the arena.
What time does the site open?
On Thursday 23 July, parking and accessible camping open at 10:00, the main public and Boutique camping at midday, and the arena at 15:00. From Friday to Sunday everything opens at 8:00.
Is there food on site?
Yes — the food stalls bring local traders together with a varied offer that caters to vegans, vegetarians and specific dietary needs, whether you want a quick bite between stages or a proper sit-down meal.
Is the festival child-friendly?
Children aged 4 and under get in free (a free child ticket must be booked), and a paid child ticket applies from 5 to 13. Under-13s must be accompanied by an adult and 14–17s by a parent aged 22 or over. On site there's a world of children, a breastfeeding tepee and a lost-children area.
Is the festival accessible for disabled visitors?
Yes, through a free WOMAD Digital Access Pass or a Nimbus Access Card. The accessible campsite offers adapted toilets and showers, a Changing Places toilet, electric-scooter charging and a medical fridge, with a dedicated Access Team. Viewing Platforms serve the Main Stage and Big Top, a free Essential Companion ticket is available, and equipment can be hired via Event Mobility.
How do I get there by public transport?
By train, head to Chippenham station and take the shuttle bus to the Orange Gate (the pick-up/drop-off point, postcode SN12 8HT), which is also the taxi drop-off. By car, weekend ticket holders must buy a parking ticket, with automatic number-plate recognition (ANPR) in use.

WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) was founded by Peter Gabriel and brings together artists from across the globe. For 2026 the festival settles into a new home at Neston Park, on Sir James and Lady Venetia Fuller's estate near Real World Studios.
