Aiara Fest 2026: the Basque rock festival in Amurrio
Organized in the Aiara valley, in the heart of the Spanish Basque Country, Aiara Fest celebrates the local rock and alternative scene every year. The 2026 edition takes place on May 29th-30th at the El Refor sports complex, near Amurrio, featuring a lineup of 14 predominantly Spanish and Basque bands.
The lineup showcases great musical diversity, between rock, punk rock, and heavy metal. Headliners include Dubioza Kolektiv, a festive Bosnian collective, La Pegatina, and Biznaga, a figure of contemporary Spanish rock.
The Basque scene is well represented, with Su Ta Gar, Sobrezero, and Niña Coyote eta Chico Tornado. The lineup also explores stoner rock, speed metal, and punk sounds, in an intimate atmosphere typical of local festivals.
