Chicago Blues Festival 2026: the world's largest free blues festival, in Millennium Park

Run by the City of Chicago, the Chicago Blues Festival bills itself as the largest free blues festival in the world. From 4 to 7 June 2026, it takes over the iconic Millennium Park in downtown Chicago — free admission, noon to 9 p.m.

The Thursday 4 June opening night is held at the Ramova Theatre, ahead of three days of concerts at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion and on the park's side stages, including the Mississippi Crossroads Stage. The 2026 edition gathers Chicago blues names such as Zac Harmon, Billy Branch alongside Kenny Neal and Ronnie Baker Brooks, and veteran Bob Stroger.

Everything is free and open-air: bring something to sit on for the Pritzker Pavilion's great lawn, ASL interpretation is provided on the main stage, and a free trolley links Millennium Park to Maxwell Street on Sunday 7 June.

See you from 4 to 7 June 2026 in Chicago — full programme on the City website.
