Megève Blues Festival 2026: American blues in the Alps
Megève Blues Festival takes over the alpine resort of Megève, in Haute-Savoie, for two days dedicated to authentic blues. On August 1-2, 2026, this event offers quality programming focused on the roots of American blues rock, in the enchanting setting of the Savoyard mountains.
The 2026 edition hosts 4 major artists from the North American blues scene. On the bill: Fantastic Negrito, Grammy Award winner in contemporary roots blues, Jimmie Vaughan, Texas blues legend and Stevie Ray Vaughan's brother, Toronzo Cannon, modern Chicago blues figure, and DK Harrell, representing the new generation of electric blues.
The lineup explores different American blues traditions, from the electric intensity of Chicago blues to more acoustic roots sonorities, through Texas shuffle and soul-tinged rock, offering a complete panorama of this centuries-old art.
