How long has Eds Countryfest been running?
The first edition took place in 2015, put on by Evenemangsfixarna with Grassride, Dandelion Fields, Tricky Trail and Geir-Arne Westby. Later editions were held at Timmerstugorna and taken over from 2017 by Månitor Musik & Media, who brought Linda Gail Lewis and Billy Bremner over in 2018.
When and where is the 2026 edition?
Two days, Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August 2026. The festival leaves Dals-Ed for Rabbalshede Folkets Park, and festival and camping tickets bought before the move stay valid at the new site with nothing for ticket holders to do.
How many stages?
Two stages are announced for 2026, along with more bars, more food stalls, more traders and more activities than in previous years. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster Sweden, and enquiries go to [email protected].
Is there a campsite?
Yes, and it is being expanded for this edition with improved facilities. It requires a separate camping ticket alongside the festival ticket, and camping tickets bought before the venue change remain valid. The Rabbalshede site also offers plenty of parking and accommodation options nearby.
Are there shuttle buses?
Yes — buses will run between the festival grounds and Dals-Ed, the former host town. Departure times and frequency are published closer to the event on the official site.
