A spring gathering of experimental music and abstract electronica in France, Explore takes over Paris every mid-April for a weekend dedicated to avant-garde sounds. Created in 2011, this cutting-edge festival explores the boundaries between sound art, drone, and electroacoustic compositions.

The 2026 edition brings together 9 artists on April 10 and 11. On the program: American Caterina Barbieri on modular synthesizers, Julianna Barwick for vocal ambient, harpist Mary Lattimore, and visual artist Christian Marclay.

The lineup also explores free improvisation and sound collage, with immersive audiovisual performances. The festival cultivates a multidisciplinary approach, between concerts, sound installations, and sensory experiences in Parisian cultural venues.
