📋About
Le Festival international de musique de Besançon Franche-Comté fête sa 79e édition du 11 au 20 septembre 2026, avec plus de 30 concerts proposés à Besançon et en région (Baume-les-Dames, Luxeuil-les-Bains, Dole, Montbéliard). Dix jours de musique symphonique, de musique de chambre, de musique vocale et contemporaine, mais aussi de musiques du monde et de jazz, ouvrent la place de la Révolution avec Le Concert Spirituel sous la direction d'Hervé Niquet pour un concert baroque autour de Haendel. Le compositeur Régis Campo, en résidence au festival, y présente plusieurs créations tout au long de la programmation.
Parmi les temps forts de cette édition à Besançon figurent l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Bergen avec le pianiste Leif Ove Andsnes, l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Stuttgart dirigé par Rémy Ballot, le Quatuor Zaïde, ainsi que le trompettiste Romain Leleu en sextet. Le festival propose aussi des rendez-vous gratuits en plein air, comme les concerts du Kiosque du Parc Micaud ou les Apéro-jazz de la place Granvelle, avant une clôture avec l'Orchestre Victor Hugo autour d'un programme écossais.
