Festival Sonórica 2026: the makina and pop festival in Riomar
Festival Sonórica takes place at the Riomar Stadium in Riomar, in the province of Cantabria, Spain. On July 17-18, 2026, this festival offers an original lineup blending makina, the hardcore electronic music typical of the Spanish scene from the 90s-2000s, and contemporary independent pop rock.
The 2026 edition brings together 16 artists, headlined by Hombres G, legends of 80s Spanish pop rock, Lori Meyers in indie pop, and Besmaya. The lineup also includes Chimo Bayo, pioneer of Spanish makina.
This unexpected alliance between makina nostalgia and current indie pop defines the festival's identity. Artists like Niña Polaca, Sexy Zebras, and Malmö 040 share the bill with Spanish hardcore electronic pioneers like Lisasinson, Mizmaya, and Extasis, creating a unique eclectic musical experience.
