Bass House

Bass House: 99 upcoming festivals, including 32 with tickets on sale.

Bass House is an energetic electronic genre defined by its driving 125-130 BPM tempo, featuring metallic, distorted wobble or sub-basses, pitched vocals, and rhythmic patterns reminiscent of 90s house music, often with suffocating hi-hats. Emerging in the early 2010s, it fuses elements of bass music with house, drawing significant influence from dubstep, electro house, and future house. Key artists who popularized the sound include Jauz, Ephwurd, and Habstrakt, with DJs like Tchami and Skrillex also exploring the style. This genre injects a raw, bass-heavy intensity into the house framework, creating a distinctive and impactful club sound.
