Glorious Day Festival returns to Hove Lawns on June 13, 2026 to celebrate British disco, house and soul culture. Located by the seaside in Brighton, this gathering brings together iconic figures from the UK house and disco scene in a sunny, festive atmosphere. The lineup reflects 40 years of British dancefloor culture, from 80s boogie funk to contemporary electro house.
The main stage hosts Jocelyn Brown, legendary voice of soul disco, alongside Norman Jay, pioneer of London rare groove. Todd Terry represents New York house heritage while Groove Armada brings their big beat and downtempo touch. Stylistic diversity extends from boogie to synth-pop, through electropop and funky house.
DJ sets from DJ Paulette, Fat Tony and Jon Pleased Wimmin create sonic continuity between generations, celebrating the evolution of British dance music. Smudged Soul completes the bill with a selection of R&B and alternative dance.
