📋About
Festival Jazz à Vienne 2026: Jazz, Funk and World Music at Théâtre Antique
Founded in 1981, Jazz à Vienne is one of Europe's largest jazz festivals. Held at the Théâtre Antique de Vienne, this historic festival offers each summer a lineup that blends jazz tradition with contemporary influences. With 21 artists programmed, the 2026 edition promises 17 days of concerts from June 25 to July 11, in the exceptional setting of this Roman monument classified as world heritage.
The 2026 lineup brings together heavyweights of world jazz: Erik Truffaz, Stefano Di Battista, and Too Many Zooz as headliners. The roster is enriched with Angélique Kidjo, Beirut, Cerrone, and Deluxe.
The musical palette journeys from virtuoso post-bop to experimental nu jazz, energetic brass band to engaged afrobeat, alongside funk rock, acid jazz, instrumental jazz fusion, eurodisco, indie folk chamber pop. This diversity ensures a rich experience where jazz dialogues with funk, reggae, pop and world music.
From June 25 to July 11, 2026, Jazz à Vienne transforms the ancient theatre into a temple of contemporary jazz. Don't miss this unique gathering where music meets history in an exceptional architectural setting!
