📋About
Jungle Bells 2026: Atlanta's independent drum and bass weekend, from club night to sunrise
It started in 1998 as a small end-of-year party put together to raise awareness about suicide prevention. Almost thirty years on, Jungle Bells has become a cornerstone of the Atlanta bass scene and one of the leading independent drum and bass promoters in the United States. No corporate owner sits behind it: a five-person crew runs things, led by Darcy Reenis (D:RC) and Brandon Couturier (Platez), while MJ Lee, part of the project for close to three decades, stepped away from day-to-day management in March 2026. The approach stays the same, favouring intimate clubs over arenas, for a crowd that travels in from across the country and abroad. Outside winter, the Summer Bells and Autumn Bells series keep things going.
For December 2026, the event spreads over two nights at Underground Atlanta, with more than 70 artists across five stages. On Friday the 11th, the night before the date this page covers, the Launch Party opens both rooms of Lunchbox from 8 pm with DJ Hype, Bryan Gee, Spinscott, JFB, LSB and Ben Soundscape & Collette Warren ($39 plus fees).
On Saturday the 12th, the Main Event links The Masquerade and Lunchbox across five rooms, from 7 pm to 3 am ($139 plus fees). That night's bill includes London Elektricity, S.P.Y, Technimatic, Lens, Craze, DLR, Monty, Reaper, Manila Killa, Yetti, Dr. Apollo, Virus Trinity (the trio of Audio, Ed Rush and Optical) and Born On Road, the Bristol label and crew built around Aries, Kelvin 373 and Selecta J-Man. The weekend leans heavily on UK talent, alongside Quadrant & Iris from Seattle and CPTL PNSHMNT from Puerto Rico.
From 3 am, the Afterparty carries on at Lunchbox (two rooms, $25 plus fees, 21+ only) into the morning with Airglo, Audio, Muzaman, Aries & Friends, Drbblz, Conductor and Zak Meow. Main Event tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, while the Launch Party and Afterparty go through Ticket Fairy. A solid pick for a long jungle night in a winter electronic calendar.
