Les Rendez-vous Soniques 2026: five nights of French song in Saint-Lô, 10 to 14 November

Every autumn, the Normandy town of Saint-Lô turns into a meeting point for French-language music for a few days. Les Rendez-vous Soniques is run by Écran Sonique, the association behind Le Normandy, the only SMAC-certified contemporary music venue in its department. Depending on the year, the event lasts five to nine days, books around forty artists and draws some 15,000 people; the 2025 edition was the sixteenth.

Things open on Tuesday 10 November with Julien Clerc at the Parc des Expositions, while Cascadeur brings an anniversary tour to the Théâtre, fifteen years after his first visit, with Betty Pop, a jazz- and soul-tinged trio fronted by a Caen singer, as support. Wednesday pairs Benjamin Biolay and Bertrand Belin on the big stage, and DeLaurentis performs Pionnières as a Recycl'Concert, where handing in one old electrical device gets you in for free. On Thursday Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine returns, after his 2015 appearance, on his final tour; Jeanne Cherhal is already sold out. Friday runs from Sam Sauvage to Marguerite and then Suzane, and Saturday closes with Sébastien Tellier, Yael Naim and Dressed Like Boys, after a 5 pm sign-language-interpreted show by Pi Ja Ma with the Le Normandy choir and Marianne Perrudin.

Three venues share the week: the Parc Expo, set up as a 2,500-capacity hall, the 400-seat Théâtre Roger Ferdinand and the auditorium of La Source media library, where entry costs €5. Expect €12 in advance for Cascadeur and €35 standing in advance at the Parc Expo. A food truck serves on the big-hall nights, shuttles and the Slam bus network run to the Parc Expo, and a platform in front of the seating is kept for Mobility Inclusion card holders.
