Maifeld Derby 2026: indie festival in Mannheim
Maifeld Derby is one of the most anticipated indie festivals in southwest Germany. Held annually at MVV Reitstadion in Mannheim, this one-day event brings together several thousand alternative music fans in a unique setting, between equestrian stadium and sharp programming.
The 2026 edition, scheduled for May 22, hosts 6 artists from the European indie rock and indie pop scene. On the bill: Geordie Greep, rising figure of the British avant-garde, Way Dynamic, MAN/WOMAN/CHAINSAW, DRESSED LIKE BOYS, Bikini Beach and Afar, representing the diversity of the contemporary underground.
The lineup blends saturated guitars, analog synthesizers and electronic rhythms, exploring territories of art punk, experimental electro and offbeat pop, with particular attention to acts pushing genre boundaries.
