Ment 2026: experimental and electronic music festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia
The Ment festival is the annual meeting point for the alternative and experimental music scene of Central and Eastern Europe. From February 18 to 21, 2026, Ljubljana hosts 37 artists for four days of sonic discoveries at the intersection of electronic, contemporary classical and experimental music. The festival also serves as a networking platform for the regional music industry.
The programme prioritises emerging artists and avant-garde projects. American duo Ho99o9 fuses hardcore punk and industrial trap, German producer Skee Mask explores ambient techno and breakbeat, British drummer Valentina Magaletti experiments with improvised percussion. Ukrainian composer Heinali offers atmospheric ambient electronics.
The festival covers a broad spectrum of niche genres: ambient, breakbeat, coldwave, dark wave, deathrock, contemporary folk and experimental electronics. Palestinian rapper Shabjdeed and compatriot Al Nather represent the Middle Eastern hip-hop scene.
