Metal Magic Festival 2026: the extreme metal festival in Fredericia
An annual gathering of the Scandinavian extreme metal scene, Metal Magic Festival takes over Dronningepladsen in Fredericia, Denmark, from July 8th-10th, 2026. Featuring 11 bands, the event celebrates the brutal sounds of black metal, death metal, and thrash metal.
The lineup brings together genre references: Uada, masters of melodic black metal, Enforcer, a figure of Swedish speed metal, and Macabre, pioneers of American grindcore. The underground scene is represented by Nunslaughter, Hellbutcher, and Frelser.
The lineup explores the territories of doom metal, grindcore, and traditional heavy metal. The atmosphere is brutal and authentic, in the spirit of European underground metal festivals, far from large commercial productions.
